1. The action of vigorously scraping along the top of a flat, thin object such as a fish, in order to remove the scales.
As a Verb or Adjective:
1. To remove the scales from a whole fish, or piece of fish, using a knife or specialised implement. English = descale.

1. There appears to be no commonly used Auslan sign for DESCALE (but some signers represent this visually using these depicting signs, once they have established the topic).
